Material & Accessories Sourcing
New Star Toys sources the fabrics, fillings, trims, embroidery threads, accessories, and functional components needed for custom plush production through a localized supplier network. This helps us maintain stable material availability, competitive sourcing costs, and consistent quality while meeting the requirements of different designs and target markets.

Fillings for Softness, Weight & Shape
The filling affects how a plush feels, sits, and keeps its shape over time. We match the stuffing to the product's size, structure, and intended use.
PP Cotton
A common high-resiliency filling that gives plush toys a soft, springy feel while helping them maintain shape after compression.
Recycled Polyester / rPET Filling
recycled polyester materials and suitable for brands looking for a more sustainable filling option without sacrificing loft and softness.
Hypoallergenic Filling
Available for suitable baby, children's, or sensitive-use projects where low-irritation materials are an important consideration.
Weighted Filling
Adds extra mass to the lower body, paws, or selected sections to improve sitting stability, balance, and sensory feel.
Project-Specific Fillings
We can source or combine fillings based on requirements such as firmer structure, softer hand feel, shape retention, weight distribution, or functional features.

What We Can Source
Sustainable & Certified Material Sourcing
We support brands that need more responsible material options without compromising product quality, safety, or sourcing consistency.
- Responsible Materials – Organic fabrics, non-toxic dyes, recycled polyester, and other eco-focused materials can be sourced for suitable projects.
- Certification Support – We work with suppliers offering materials aligned with standards such as GRS and OEKO-TEX, depending on the specific project and material.
- Material Traceability – Sourcing records can help support growing B2B traceability requirements, including future frameworks such as the EU Digital Product Passport (DPP).
Material Traceability & Supply Chain Support
Our sourcing process is designed to give B2B buyers better visibility into the materials used in their products.
We can support:
- Supplier and material identification
- Raw-material specification records
- Recycled-material documentation where available
- Compliance-related material records
- Digital sourcing information for evolving traceability requirements
This also helps brands prepare for stricter supply-chain transparency requirements, including emerging systems such as the EU Digital Product Passport.
Incoming Material Quality Control
Materials are checked before they enter the cutting and sewing lines by IQC (Incoming Quality Control). Inspection focuses on:
- Fabric defects and surface consistency
- Filling and accessory condition
- Color and material specification
- Strength and workmanship
- Available compliance documentation
Materials can be sourced to support applicable toy safety requirements such as EN71, ASTM F963, and CPSIA, depending on the finished product and destination market.
A Sourcing Network Built for Stable Production
Because materials and accessories are sourced as part of our manufacturing workflow, buyers do not need to coordinate with separate fabric mills, trim suppliers, component vendors, or the plush factory itself.
Our sourcing team helps connect the right fabric, filling, accessories, functional parts, and compliance requirements into a single production plan. It helps reduce material delays and keep bulk manufacturing more consistent.
